

The principal purpose of the Trust is to make Provision for East Timorese Education and Relief (P.E.T.E.R).
East Timor, a half island 350 miles north of Darwin, Australia, is the poorest country in SE Asia and one of the four most impoverished countries in the world.
On our website you will find links to backgound information, support initiatives and the resulting projects undertaken to help the people of East Timor.
The Appeal hopes to raise money to assist three groups of youngsters in East Timor:
70 Severely disabled/handicapped children in the care of the ALMA (Missionary) Sisters - £1.50 weekly for treatment and medication for each child.
60 children in the Orphanage of the Dominican Sisters of the Rosary (OP) – £70 per child for one year includes food, costs of day school, and residential accommodation.
Young people training in construction skills at the Technical College of the Salesian Brothers (SDB) – annual cost per student £200 (includes food and accommodation, tuition, and work overalls).
